Muskoka Lakes acquires Fire Extinguisher Training Unit

Thanks to the generosity of Firehouse Subs in Orillia and the Public Safety Foundation of Canada, the Muskoka Lakes Fire Department recently acquired a Bullex Digital Fire Extinguisher Training Unit. This acquisition was made possible by a grant of $27,685 through Firehouse Subs' grant program.
Douglas Holland, the township’s fire prevention officer, says that this new equipment will play a crucial role in educating and training residents and business owners on the proper use of fire extinguishers.
The grant is one of twelve awarded by Firehouse Subs during its current grant cycle, totaling around $370,000 in support for various fire departments.
