The Township of lake of Bays advised that the MTO reports that repairs for the closed section of Highway 35 are estimated to take 2-3 days, with the potential for completion ahead of schedule.
The municipality says the cause of the washout is not confirmed and is currently under investigation.
The entrances onto Highway 35 from Highway 60 and Highway 117 continue to be restricted for use by local traffic only.
