Hunters Bay Radio offers multiple audio streams to suit different listener requirements.
We have streams in 3 different qualities, based on the speed of your internet.
Windows Media 20bit - For Dialup and should work by default on Windows Based Machines without additional software.
Windows Media 64bit - For High speed internet connections.
Shoutcast 128bit - For High Speed Internet connections - may require additional software*. This is our best quality sound.
PLEASE NOTE: the button on our player are sorted by type of computer or device that you using, but if you have the correct player you can use any stream.
Button descriptions & Players:
Windows - 64bit Windows Media File
Primarily used with lite high speed services. Offers rich sound comparable to FM broadcast.
The stream will play in Windows machines with Windows Media Player. Other players can be configured to play this file.
Apple - 128bit Shoutcast stream
This is our best quality sound and best used with faster high speed connections. If you experience buffering on a reqular basis, you may consider stepping down to the 64bit stream. Will work on Apple products, or any Windows based machine with the appropriate software (see below).
Android - 128bit Shoutcast stream
Used primarily by Android smartphones. Our best sound quality.
Additional Application required, we recommend . A Online Radio from the android market.

Software:
There are many different players available to play the various streams offered. Windows machines come with Windows Media player installed. Apple comes with iTunes installed. Both can be configured to play many different kinds of streams.
If you would like to download alternative players, we recommend these players: iTunes, Win Amp, & VLC. You can download them at www.download.com
Troubleshooting:
If for any reason, you cannot open a particular stream, it may be that the stream is temporarily offline, although that happens rarely. If you would like to continue to listen, choose another stream and open it up in its default player.
